Can I find any wildlife in the UK? In my very first wildlife diary entry, I head out into the local fields of Bristol to see what British wildlife is hiding right on our doorstep. 📍 Location: Stoke Park Estate, Bristol, UK I’ve just bought a new Canon R7 and this was my first real outing to learn wildlife photography and test the camera in the field. My main mission for this outdoor adventure was tracking down elusive wild stoats and deer. While wildlife photography requires plenty of patience (and dealing with a couple of frustrating missed opportunities while messing with my new camera settings!), the local fields didn't disappoint. Instead, I stumbled across the famous captive goats at Stoke Park Estate, spotted a wild fox, caught a woodpecker hard at work, and spent time with local rabbits, ducks, and geese.
