I also give a detailed explanation of what happened to me here last weekend as much as I hate to say it - I got jumped, robbed and dragged to another part of town while unconscious, left on the street with a bloody face, awoken by cops that wouldn't help me get home and no wallet or phone! woo hoo so sketch ! I also got pick pocketed a few weeks ago ... being a gringo in Colombia can be tricky .. I think Medellin is a cool city overall but be careful if you are a gringo!!
