Parenthood Actor Xolo Maridueña Dishes Set Secrets | Spill the Tea

Before This Is Us had us crying every week, there was Parenthood. The show managed to tug at our heartstrings every episode and legit made us feel like we were a part of the Braverman family. One character who was reponsible for bringing on some serious waterworks was Victor, played by Xolo Maridueña. He was the boy who came into the youngest Braverman daughter Julia and her babe of a husband Joel's life looking for a forever home. And though he had some ups and downs with his new family, he officially got adopted, giving one of the show's most beloved couples the son they always wanted. Cue the sobs. Xolo, the actor who brought little Victor to life, is now 16 years old and starring in a new YouTube Red series, Cobra Kai. So, when he stopped by our offices, we had to ask him to spill some tea about his time on Parenthood. He might've been just a kid for the three years he worked on the show, but he remembers it all and had no problem giving us some insider info about what it was really like on set of the series. Among many other things, Xolo dished on the very special IRL relationship between Dax Shepard and Kristen Bell. Dax played Xolo's uncle on the show, Crosby Braverman, and while Xolo admitted the 43-year-old was a total jokester on set, one of his most vivid memories is when Kristen would visit the cast and crew while she was pregnant. "Meeting Kristen on set while she was pregnant was an experience like no other because to know that I touched her stomach was really big! But they are really great, they're both very witty and funny and almost butt heads a lot," Xolo said. So yeah, they're as adorable together as we all thought and during a time when so many celeb couples are shattering our hearts and belief in true love, Dax and Kristen are doing just fine.
