David Zehavi (1910-1977) - Eli, Eli!

This program originated in Fürstenberg an der Havel, a small picturesque town on the shores of the same lake as Ravensbrück, the women’s concentration camp, well known for its horror and terror. Every year, concluding the memorial ceremony, single flowers are sunk into the bottom of the lake, where the victims’ ashes were thrown.
