Optimum - the "HotSpot The Dog" campaign (2012-2014)

in June 21, 2012, to promote Optimum Wifi's then-new Hotspots, The Brooklyn Brothers and Blacklist's WIZZ launched a series of commericals starring a walking talking voice-of-reason Dog named "HotSpot" with his bouncy and excited owner "Ben", and Hotspot's love interest is "Lexi" as they go on slice of life moments while talking about stuff from Optimum, HotSpot educates Ben on the benefits of fast and free Optimum WiFi. Hotspot was Optimum's mascot at the time. Despite having a stop motion feel to them (especially the first season), this is actually CGI animated, the team at WIZZ used 3D printed models of the 2 main characters, planned for camera, lighting and scale and integrated the CG characters in post, the backgrounds are made with cardboard also. 13 Commericals under 3 Seasons were produced for the campaign during 2012-2014, most of the commericals were comedy toned, Season 1 focused on talking about Optimum Wifi's Hotspots, but Seasons 2-3 focuses on other things from Optimum other than their Wifi's Hotspots.
