Triumph Recall Explained: Street Twin, Scrambler & Bonneville Wiring Fix – Part 2

#Triumphwiringloom #triumphrecall #triumphelectricalproblems In Part Two of my Triumph Street Twin wiring loom problems, I share the results of Triumph’s electrical investigation. Triumph organised a free wiring loom replacement on my 8 year old bike and even sorted out a courtesy bike for me while the work was being done, although I did pay for it, but still it made the whole process far less painful. This issue isn’t unique to the Street Twin. Triumph issued recalls in recent years for several Modern Classics, including: • Street Twin • Street Scrambler • Street Cup • Bonneville T100 • Bonneville T120 The recalls (SRAN 560 & SRAN 584) involved the wiring harness and clutch cable around the headstock. In some cases, cables and the loom could rub against each other or against the frame, potentially causing dangerous electrical failures—like the complete loss of lights I experienced. In this video I’ll explain what Triumph found, the fix they applied, and what it means if you ride one of these models. Have you had wiring loom or electrical issues with your Triumph? Was your bike affected by the recall, and did the fix solve the problem long-term? Share your experience in the comments—it could really help other riders.
