How a CDL-A Skills Test is Performed. Pre trip, Backing, & Road! In this video we go over the way you will be instructed to perform each skill by a CDL examiner. First you will have a pre-trip inspection. This can be either a Full Form or various smaller sections. Next we go over each backing maneuver and the instructions to perform these as well. Finally we go over the road test and what may be required of you as well as what is need to work on.
