U.S. Route 26 - East (Sunset Fwy)

US 26 Enters Oregon with US 20 But It Spilts Soon After. But First You Meet OR-201 in Nyssa. Then US 20 & 26 Turn Off to stay on near Ontario. then in Vale, US 26 leaves US 20’s Carriageway before becoming independent. You meet OR-245 near Unity. then You meet OR-7 near Austin, Finally You Meet the Grand Dog, US 395 on a Small concurrency between John Day & Mt. Vernon. Then a little Past Dayvile You meet OR-19, after that you meet OR-207 in Mitchell. Now you are in Mid-size Town of Prineville Your Junctions are OR-380, 27 and OR-126 which Used to be US 126 & Before that, was the Short-lived US 28. then You are in Madras The Junction Here is US 97. as you leave the Town while Hijacking US 97’s Carriageway You Head Northwest towards Portland. On the way, You Meets OR-216, OR-35 & 173 near Government Camp near Mt. Hood before Finally arriving at the Portland Metro. US 26 Was Going to be Routed on the Mt. Hood Fwy. but ended up Cancelled. You meet OR-211 in Sandy, OR-212 near BORING!, Gresham, I-205, OR-213 & OR-99E before Hoping onto I-405, after that You Become Briefly on to the 405. Sunset Freeway US-26 Freeway Begins at I-405 west of Downtown Portland Going thru a Tunnel Beneath the Mountains before reaching the Oregon Zoo. Then US 26 has a Freeway Junction With OR-217. You then Head to Marlene Village & North Plains Before Ending near the OR-6 Spilt. US 26 loses it’s Second Lane and is less than 100 miles from it’s End But Not before reaching OR-47, OR-103, OR-53 Before Ending at US-101 near Seaside in the Oregon Coast.
