"This is a choice Uber has made in Italy, and Calabria is the first region in Italy to have UberX—it doesn't even exist in Rome. It's a cheaper service than Uber. We're very happy because it will provide residents and tourists with an additional option to get around and reach Calabria's most beautiful places." This was stated by the President of the Calabria Region, Roberto Occhiuto, today in Scilla (Reggio Calabria) for the presentation of the UberX private transport service.
