Continuing from yesterday, I went to Lake Nukabira, a dam lake in Tokachi, Hokkaido. This time, Yohei and I had a slow start in the afternoon. It was sunny, but the wind was strong, causing whitecaps on the lake's surface. Maybe? I had some hope, but there was a long period with absolutely no chases... Yohei started with a dace, then a bite from a Dolly Varden trout? After that, he landed a beautiful, large rainbow trout! I had one bite right in front of me, but I couldn't tell if it was a snag or something else until I reviewed the video. I think it was a decent-sized Dolly Varden trout. The evening, something I'd always wanted to experience. As the shoreline became shaded, Dolly Varden trout started attacking the smelt in the shallows. This is it! The chases suddenly increased, and then a Dolly Varden over 60cm hit! It was a really enjoyable fishing trip after a long time.
