A sermon delivered by C.H. Spurgeon, Lord's day morning, October 30th 1887. Some of us neglect the Minor Prophets; but here is a seam of gold found in each one. The verses before us are from the prophet Zephaniah. They speak of the delight that Jehovah God has in His people! He rejoices over them, and rests in His love for them. Spurgeon saw the application of this scripture to 1887. I think we can all see its relevance for today also. Our joy, our security and our hope are to be found in God alone.
