She's a little diamond." - Prof. Maria Kliegel - Kanon Huang was born in Linz in 2013 into taiwanese - japanese family of musicians. At the age of 2 she first took part in the early musical education of Anton Bruckner Private University. She received her first cello lesson at the age of 3 from her father Hsin-Kang Huang. At the age of 5 she played her first appearance in the class evening of Prof. Andreas Pözlberger as a guest student at A. Bruckner Private University. At the age of 6 she decided to become a soloist in the future to become. Kanon Huang was a special first prize winner (Cat. I.) at the 14th Jan Vychytil International Cello Competition Prague in 2020, as well as first prize winner with distinction (Cat. A) at the Prima la musica state competition in Upper Austria. She was the selected winner of the Jury to play the final concert in the Great Hall of the Brucknerhaus. During coronavirus period, she won first prize at Hong Kong Music Performing Arts Competition (cat. TP6). In the summer of 2020 she received the scholarship for the Allegro Vivo master class in Horn. she was the youngest selected musician at the final concert. In 2021 she won first prize (Cat. I.) at the 3rd Gustav Mahler Cello Prize Competition. She won with "Absolute first prize" (String A). at the Danubia Talents Music Competition. In spring 2021 she won "Golden Note" from IMF in Austria. She was the youngest winner of the "Golden Note" competition so far. She was also in the show "Stars & Talents" and as an artist she was promoted by "Licht ins Dunkel Gala Concert” invited. In December she was recognized by the Austrian magazine “Weekend”. Top 100 Austrians 2021 in category: Rookies nominated and selected with 1st place. In 2022 at the age of 8 she won the 3rd Prize at the international Antonio Janigro Cello Competition in category that for 15 years old competitor(Cat.III) in Sibenik Croatia. In the autumnr she was the youngest winner of the 2nd prize from international Dotzauer Competition (Cat. I.). She completed courses with Steven Isserlis, Tamás Varga, Ádám Jávorkai, Prof. Claudio Bohórquez, Prof. Maria Kliegel, Prof. Matthias Bartolomey, Prof. Johannes Moser, Prof. Reinhard Latzko Prof. Maria Grün.
