Basic sleeve draft in Valentina/Seamly2D (Armstrong's method)

In this video #tutorial, I'll demonstrate how to draft a basic sleeve by using the Armstrong's pattern drafting method in Valentina, an open-source pattern-making program. These instructions can also be applied to drafting a pattern in Seamly2D, though please be aware that some Valentina-specific features may not be available there. The measurements of this pattern are in inches but you can easily transform them to centimeters within Tape. I have created a listing on my Etsy shop for customers interested in purchasing a ready-to-use bodice draft file, a measurements file, and a corresponding guide: https://www.etsy.com/fi-en/listing/14... 00:00 Introduction 00:06 Downloading Valentina 00:37 Measurements 00:42 New pattern piece 00:55 Drafting sleeve block 19:27 Transferring to Details mode 20:21 Adding grainline 20:50 Adding seam allowance and notches You can download Valentina for free using this link: https://smart-pattern.com.ua/en/valen...
