Sonic Origins ~ Sonic the Hedgehog CD - Part 4

With all of the Time Stones already in hand we can really make work out of getting through these stages quickly. Amy is still in Dr. Eggman's grasp and we therefore can not lean back during this adventure quite yet obviously. Our inevitable confrontation with Metal Sonic is up soon, but does that also mean we can expect the final confrontation with Eggman himself already? Sonic CD is the second Sonic game and released on the Sega Mega-CD instead of the Sega Genesis where the other games appeared. In the game the same high speed platforming from the original game returns and expands the way the stages work by giving the player the option to travel across time to either the past or the future. In the past machines that make robots can be destroyed and therefore changing the future making that variant of the stage a lot easier because a lot more enemies being present otherwise. This way a lot of different ways to go through stages can be found and your adventure to try and stop Dr. Eggman from finding the Time Stones on the mysterious planet the appears once every year who give the person controlling them the ability to control time itself. But things won't be easy for Sonic as Dr. Eggman kidnaps Sonic's friend Amy in order to distract him and while also showing off his new invention Metal Sonic, a metal clone of Sonic that Eggman has build in the meantime as well. Sonic Origins is the 20th anniversary of Sonic compilation title containing the original three mainstream Sonic games from the classic timeline on the Sega Genesis and even includes Sonic CD from the Sega CD system. Releasing on all of the modern console this compilation title is the perfect way for modern gamers to still be able to experience how this famous series got started in the early '90s.
