Today, many law school graduates are faced with the question of where to work as a lawyer. There's a clear need for retraining lawyers in the country, which creates intense competition, given the extremely low standard of work. I wouldn't recommend starting in commercial law—you'll be begging for your meager salary, and you probably won't get it. It's certainly possible to start in government, despite the inherent disadvantages of working there. However, it's important to understand that finding work will be very difficult, and leaving Russia with such a specialty is even more difficult.
