We took on the mission of quickly and safely removing three huge 37-ton generators (Yanmar 6N280L-SN 1200kW) installed in the middle of a high-altitude ski resort in a short amount of time! The site this time was on a steep slope and in bad condition. Moreover, the generators were installed in a dedicated large generator building located in the middle of the ski resort. It was a real opportunity to show off our craftsmen's skills to bring in heavy machinery such as four large trucks, a 16-ton OC crane, three special trailers, and a 40-ton hydraulic gate lifter. 🛠️ [Items to be removed] 3 generators (37 tons) Control panel Cooling water pump and heat exchanger Air start compressor Air tank Various piping (fuel and cooling water) Electrical wiring, etc. The ski resort requested that they "reuse the building as a garage for shuttle buses and snow groomers in the future." Therefore, we performed a "full clearance" procedure, completely removing all equipment, wiring, and piping from inside the building. 💡 [Removal process] The 37-ton generator was lifted with four electric hydraulic jacks, placed on a 100-ton roller, and carefully removed to the outside with a 4-ton forklift. However! A 16-ton crane alone cannot lift it...! That's where the secret weapon "40-ton gantry hydraulic lifter" comes in! Even in a small space, the simultaneous use of a crane and lifter ensures safe and reliable lifting! Our experienced professional craftsmen handle the guidance of the large special trailer. Lifting and loading are completed in just a few minutes. With incredible speed and precision, the generators are removed one after another. ⏱️ [We are also committed to work efficiency] Utilizing the know-how gained from the first unit, we significantly reduced the time it took to remove the second and third units. The foreman made an immediate decision on site, optimized the roller position and the method of using the crane, and successfully removed the second unit from the outside in just three hours! His on-site judgment and high level of experience shine through. Finally, the control panel, pumps, piping equipment, etc. were carefully removed and removed with a 10-ton truck.
