🤖 𝗠𝗮𝗴𝗻𝗶𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗮 𝗛𝘂𝗺𝗮𝗻𝗶𝘁𝗮𝘀 (𝗣𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗲 𝟭/𝟯): ¿𝗛𝗮𝗰𝗶𝗮 𝗱𝗼́𝗻𝗱𝗲 𝗻𝗼𝘀 𝗹𝗹𝗲𝘃𝗮 𝗹𝗮 𝗜𝗔?

Hello everyone! I'm sharing some reflections from an enriching dialogue I had with Edwin Aldana about the encyclical Magnifica Humanitas, where we analyzed the impact of Artificial Intelligence from the perspective of the Church's Social Doctrine (SDC). Faced with the technological revolution, we are confronted with a crucial choice between two paths: 1️⃣ Building a new Tower of Babel: A path marked by individualism, a lack of limits, and a development that dehumanizes us. 2️⃣ Building the City of the Common Good (The Way of Nehemiah): Designing and using technology with the clear purpose of serving the dignity of every person. 135 years ago, the encyclical Rerum Novarum addressed the challenges of the industrial revolution. Today, the core message remains the same: not to become machines designed solely for production, but to use technology for the integral development of all. 💡 4 Key Principles of Catholic Social Teaching for Ethical Technology: ✅ Human Dignity: Technology at the service of the person, not the other way around. ✅ Common Good: Algorithms that benefit all of society. ✅ Subsidiarity: Responsible decisions made in close collaboration with communities. ✅ Social Justice: Ethical, transparent algorithms with fair access. All of this is based on four essential values: truth, freedom, justice, and love of God. We don't seek to stifle innovation, but rather to ensure that it respects us as human beings.
