Peggle 2 100% / 110% "WR" (7:25:29 / 10:14:24)

… I guess it’s a WR if there’s no one in the category. I think of this as a proof of concept for a fast run of 110%. This speedrun relies heavily on what I call static shots. In levels where pegs don’t move, you can make shots to the left, right, or dead center (for the first shots) that are deterministic. This lets figure out in advance (through trial and error) where the bucket will be. By doing this I can clear a number of pegs on each level without losing any balls, making clearing all pegs on each level easier (since one of the challenges for every level is clear all pegs). There are some additional tactics, I can explain if anyone cares. For levels where the pegs move, I just have to git gud. (Or more often, lucky) While I’m happy with the work I put in for this, and I’m happy with the time (my original goal was 9 hours / 12 hours), there is (a lot of) room to improve. Areas to improve: Routing improvements: In general, I try to get achievements my first time through the level. There might be some levels where coming back with a different master makes sense. In particular: 110% Routing: I did this run in a way that follows the rules for both 100% and 110%. If I were going for a pure 110% run, Jimmy’s multi ball is really good for some levels/trials I didn’t use it in. More risk taking: This run is incredibly conservative for consistency in getting clear alls. Particularly if I were trying to improve the time I would take more risks. Improved strats for some trials and levels. Better menu manipulation, particularly pausing less to look at objectives. Less bathroom breaks ;_; Note (particularly to verifier): Right at the 6 hour mark, at the beginning of Gnorman’s fourth trial, my video recording software (Elgato Game Capture HD) lost a bunch of frames when it switched over to a new file (which it apparently does at regular times due to file size… in my case seemingly every six hours). Based on musical cues and my split timer, I lost about two seconds of video. I added three seconds onto my time to compensate. Please let me know if you have any questions
