Achy Breaky Heart - Beginning Guitar

What a fun way to finish our beginning guitar packet of music! This old rock song is such a silly one, but super fun to play and sing. The middle section that has the melody pick part is such a cool challenge for you now…don’t let it intimidate you! Remember, the larger numbers are the string numbers, and the tiny numbers to the right of each large number are the fret numbers. You get to choose which fingers to use, so experiment with different options. 2nd and 4th, 1st and 3rd or the one I used, 1st and 4th fingers. Also don’t forget to hold the thumb pick with your index finger to imitate holding a regular pick. It helps not to have your fingers flying around while you’re picking. I hope you have tons of fun playing this song and jamming on it with friends. It is really a cool one to play along with others, and you can do the solo! Woohoo!!!
