Pentangle - Light Flight

New improved version of my earlier upload. This classic piece of folk-jazz was recorded in 1969 for the Basket of Light album, and was used as the theme music for the BBC TV comedy drama series "Take Three Girls". I used moises.ai to separate the audio into stems (vocal - guitars - bass - drums), then Transcribe! - https://www.seventhstring.com/ - to split the stereo guitar stem. Bert Jansch's guitar is in the left channel, John Renbourn's in the right. Lead and backing vocal were both Jacqui McShee - last surviving band member - and the bass was Danny Thompson. Drum notation not included. Apologies to fans of Terry Cox (the drum part is at least as sophisticated as the rest). Bert's original playing positions are now given in the tab, and some corrections have been applied to other parts. Further videos will demonstrate both guitar parts, and discuss other details of the composition and arrangement - links will be given here when ready. Meanwhile, for those interested in an arrangement for one guitar, I recommend Pierre Le Bras' excellent work:    • THE PENTANGLE -  LIGHT FLIGHT  (REVISITED)   LYRICS: Sites attempting to explain the lyrics don't seem to have hit on the idea that it was - almost certainly - inspired by the film 2001: A Space Odyssey. released in 1968 in the UK. Its psychedelic last act was a huge favourite with young music fans at the time, and Light Flight's verses 2, 3 and 4 and the bridge (not to mention the title!) make a perfect commentary on that part of the film. They hardly make sense in any other way! Check it out:    • 2001: A Space Odyssey...and Beyond the Inf...
