2016 Midas Complex Bridge - Segmental Bridge Analysis
Analyzing segmental bridges requires to consider many factors such as staged construction analysis, time-dependent material, tendon loss, and camber value depending on different construction methods. Further, it is hard to find a FEM program which contains fast modeling tools on each construction method. Through this session, we will go over how midas Civil is able to auto generate a model with staged construction information. After that, What functions in midas Civil are geared to successfully finish segmental bride projects. Finally, the most attractive feature: Design optimization process in midas Civil will be addressed.
