Diara wetland is basically a cultivation land which lies beside the Tarakeshwar Railway line, just before the Diara railway station. This vast grassland has become quite popular as a bird watching spot. The road connecting Diara station and Delhi road extends through this grassland. Apart from cultivated lands, there are bushes, swamps and a lot of greeneries on both sides of the road where you can find lots of residential and migratory bird species. A typical village road has divided the grassland area into two parts. Both sides are full of bushes and mursh. Lots of different types of birds are available. The place is very quiet and free from pollution. It can be called "Birds' Paradise". At first sight the place seems to be good for birding, this is a open cultivation land, so there are human interference, still i have found bird availability quite impressive.
