seamless Transformers dismantled layer by layer (no power tools just rust)
This video explains how to dismantle a copper transformer by splitting the seamless lacquered/glued core. The secret is to leave the transformer outside for a few weeks, exposed to all the changes in weather. This will encourage moisture to ingress into the layers of iron and then expand when rust is formed. This will split and separate the layers of laminated iron. These units don't have a welded seam, they are manufactured layer by layer. If you have plenty of time on your hands, this is one way to do it.
