Instead of a standard hostage situation, the Besties decide to actually teach the cadet the finer points of the job—running drills on how to high-speed chase and tackle criminals on the block. When real units finally pull up to BCSO to rescue the cadet and arrest the imposters, the Besties effortlessly slip through the perimeter and escape. The entire situation leaves Officer Nova incredibly frustrated with the current state of the force. Looking at the low server population (only 28 people online), Nova calls out the PD for entertaining the shenanigans instead of making hard arrests. She points out a grim reality: if the police go hard and it turns into a shootout, the few officers on duty will get absolutely wiped. Nova blasts the Besties for "copbaiting and doing stupid shit because they're bored," especially since they keep losing the cops in a pursuit, only to immediately return to MRPD to start a brand new chase. Unbothered by the complaints, the Besties lean even further into the bit. They officially claim the BCSO building as their new headquarters, posting a Twatter advertisement to recruit new members to their fake police force and teach them the laws of Los Santos!
