The New M55 Motorway Junction 2... 48 Years late but WHY!?

It opened in 1975 but they missed out junction two, and for years, that's just how it was. Until July 2023 when finally, after 48 years the junction was completed and opened to traffic. But Why? They didn't bother building it the first time around... why go to the trouble now? It turns out there may be fairly good reasons but one does wonder if they should have just gone ahead with their original plans in the first place. In this video I'll be explaining why the junction wasn't built, and then was and we'll also look into the future as the story might not be over for junction 2 of the M55.
