On October 29, 2024, the DANA storm devastated Valencia, leaving a desolate landscape and thousands of people homeless and facing an uncertain future. Eight weeks later, the victims have been laid to rest, the streets have been cleared, and many essential services have been restored. However, a very difficult task has begun, in which each person, each family, each small business is a story in itself. Rebuilding these lives will not be a matter of weeks, but of months and years, of resources and perseverance, of will and solidarity. At Renta 4 Banco, we have joined this long journey of recovery, hand in hand with Casa Caridad in Valencia. An institution that has been dedicated for over 100 years to helping the most disadvantaged members of Valencian society, and which in recent weeks has demonstrated its ability to manage resources and implement practical and effective solutions, thanks to the solidarity received from all over Spain, and the dedication and professionalism of those who work there every day. In this video, Luis Miralles, president of Casa Caridad, tells us about the origins of this institution and how the DANA storm devastated the area.
