Yes, it can operate on battery power for up to 45 hours. Twin Coil Antenna element similar to the ones in their premium radios. The main antenna element can be mounted up to 75' away from the control box. Can be mounted outside with certain precautions. Included AC adapter to power the system. Direct connection provided for radios with antenna terminals. Amazing gain during daytime and evening hours. Can be used along with a passive loop, great for experimentation. Includes a Ferrite stick to direct the gain to radios without external connections. Works incredibly well. Build quality is top notch. Mounting hardware included. The Fine Tuning Control is excellent. Works very well to Null out adjacent stations. Overall, if your serious about your AM reception and wish to improve it, then this Antenna system is for you.
