In "The Web," Simão arrives home and confronts her father. Augusto asks her to think about Inês before taking any action. Simão, on the phone with Mônica, realizes that she is in cahoots with Augusto. She hangs up, and Augusto says he will have his daughter if he gives her the letter, and Simão almost punches him. Cecília steps in and prevents the confrontation.
