Art of Phrasing: Violin - Off-the-string bow techniques · The Rondo Production
In this video, our curator and presenter, Ms. Bernice Ooi from the Royal Swedish Orchestra, will focus on phrasing with off-the-string bow techniques. She will guide us through the demonstration of the violin excerpt from Mozart's Symphony No. 39, which is one of the most requested excerpts at orchestral violin auditions. It is the first of his last three symphonies, a set that he composed in rapid succession during the summer of 1788. Get the part and start practising!
