Prayers in the Benedictine Monastery in Abu Gosh
The Benedictine monastery at the heart of the Arab village of Abu Gosh near Jerusalem stays for one of the most magnificent hidden treasures of the Holy Land. The monastery run by the Olivetan Benedictine order. It is centered on the Church of the Resurrection, built by the Crusaders in the 12th century. And this December, 2016, I was lucky to be present at the closed evening prayers beautifully performed by nuns and priests in the church.
