(9 Jul 1978) The leader of the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine, George Habash, has vowed that his organisation will continue to fight for an independent Palestinian homeland despite any agreement reached between Egypt and Israel. Habash was speaking to a rally in Beirut when he said that the Palestinian liberation movement would fight on and contribute to the formation of an Arab liberation movement.
