Nodeul Island (노들섬) is a unique landmark situated in the heart of the Han River in Seoul, Korea, positioned directly beneath the Hangang Bridge. ​History of the Island: ​Origins (Pre-1917): Originally, the site was a natural sandy beach known as "Nodeul-teoji," used by locals for leisure and fishing. ​Formation (1917): The island was artificially shaped when sand was extracted from this area to construct the first Hangang Bridge during the colonial period. ​Mid-20th Century: It became a popular summer beach and winter ice-skating rink for the people of Seoul. ​Modern Era (2019–Present): After years of being underutilized, the island was reborn in September 2019 as a cultural and music-themed complex. It is currently undergoing further enhancements to become a global art island. ​Location: Located in the center of the Han River, Nodeul Island serves as a central hub connecting the vibrant districts of Yongsan, Noryangjin, and Yeouido. Its strategic location offers panoramic views of the city skyline, framed by the iconic bridges that connect Seoul's north and south banks. تعد جزيرة نودل (Nodeulseom) معلماً فريداً يقع في قلب نهر الهان بسيول، كوريا، وتحديداً أسفل جسر "هانغانغ" الشهير. ​تاريخ الجزيرة: ​البدايات (ما قبل 1917): لم تكن جزيرة في الأصل، بل كانت عبارة عن مساحة رملية طبيعية تُعرف باسم "نودل-تجي"، وكان يستخدمها السكان المحليون للاستجمام وصيد الأسماك. ​التأسيس (1917): تشكلت الجزيرة كـ "جزيرة صناعية" عندما تم استخراج الرمال من الموقع لبناء جسر "هانغانغ" الأول. ​منتصف القرن العشرين: تحولت الجزيرة إلى وجهة شهيرة لسكان سيول، حيث كانت تُستخدم كشاطئ للسباحة في الصيف، وحلبة للتزلج على الجليد في الشتاء. ​العصر الحديث (2019 - الآن): بعد سنوات من الركود، أُعيد إحياء الجزيرة في سبتمبر 2019 لتصبح مجمعاً ثقافياً وفنياً. وهي حالياً في مرحلة تطوير مستمرة لتتحول إلى "جزيرة فن عالمية". ​الموقع: تقع الجزيرة في وسط نهر الهان، وتعتبر نقطة ربط استراتيجية بين مناطق حيوية مثل "يونغسان"، "نوريانغجين"، و"يويدو". يمنحها موقعها إطلالات بانورامية مذهلة على أفق مدينة سيول، وتحيط بها الجسور التي تربط ضفتي المدينة ببعضهما البعض.
