Abandoned WW2 RAF Radar & Bofors AA Gun Tower (RAF WEST MALLING)

This historical documentary series was filmed some time ago! The tower today is now locked and are not accessible to the public! This week we are exploring the historic ww2 towers located at kings hill, west malling in Kent. There is in fact two towers that stand an inch apart, the reason for this was one side had Bofors light anti-aircraft guns and the other side had radar equipment. The inch gap was to restrict vibration from the guns affecting the radar equipment. Apparently this tower was completed in 1945 and by that time the war was over, the towers became useless.
