Transition in Hepatology: Prof. Dr. Valérie McLin vividly describes the possibilities of a transition with structured consultations, in which liver patients from university children's hospitals or large municipal children's hospitals—once they have reached the age of 18—are transferred to adult medicine. She further demonstrates how important this interdisciplinary care is for the entire family and the patient, and what positive effects it can have for everyone.
