The History and Identification of National HRO Receivers
From its introduction in 1934 the National HRO found acceptance by a wide range of users, from radio amateurs, to the airline industry, to code breakers at Bletchley Park. The long production history and wide range of models can lead to some confusion on just which HRO you're looking at. Join Brian Harrison, KN4R, as he discusses the early history of the HRO receiver and the identifying characteristics of the various National HRO models and their clones.
