Panasonic HDC-Z10000 - a Consumer or a (Semi-)Professional Camera?

A short review. Last weekend I could test a Panasonic Z10000 camcorder. It provides two lenses for 3D shots in a professional camera body. In magazines it has been described as a high-end consumer and a simple, but very versatile semiprofessional camera. I was curious what my impression might be. Checking it out, I found some nasty points that I would clearly not have expected from a semi-pro. But for a consumer cam, the image quality in 2D is absolutely outstanding, simply excellent. In the end, compared with a Panasonic HDC-SDT750, it is indeed a fantastic tool. Especially the macro-3D is great. This video is filmed with the SDT750 and its 3D conversion lens. Unfortunately it lacks a macro-3D and that's why I decided to upload only the 2D version (in 3D you would get a headache very soon). But 'cause it's filmed with the conversion lens, the image quality of this vid is rather low. To see a video in 3D filmed with the HDC-Z10000 click here:    • LGB Trainspotter Remake (3D Version)
