Eliminate creep and harsh shifting by upgrading your 40 Series Primary Clutch

Here we look at the Big Block PowerPack and how we can eliminate creep and harsh shifting by modifying the 40 series primary clutch with a set of springs. The 40 series primary clutches have engagement speeds below the idle speed of common Big Block engines, like the Predator 420. With a set of Comet 203040A RED springs, we can all but eliminate any tendency of the clutch to engage prematurely, resulting in creep at idle and poor shifting performance.
