Lebanon and Israel are preparing for a meeting in Washington to discuss a ceasefire, as part of renewed diplomatic efforts aimed at de-escalating tensions. Israeli Channel 14 reported that negotiations between Lebanon and Israel will begin Tuesday at 2:00 PM GMT in Washington, D.C. The Israeli Broadcasting Corporation stated that U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio is expected to participate in the talks. Meanwhile, U.S. Vice President J.D. Vance said that Washington has made significant progress in talks with Iran. When asked during an interview with Fox News about the possibility of further talks with Tehran, Vance said, "The ball is in Iran's court."
