440 Source Heads Vs Stock Mopar 924 & 452 Heads Comparison | Mopar Big Block Build |

Today we are looking at the differences between a set of stock casting Mopar heads from different engines and comparing them to a set of brand new 440 Source aluminum heads. Overall the build quality of the heads themselves seems to be really nice but the performance features themselves are only marginally better than a stock casting 452 head. The 924 casting actually surprised my because it had the smallest chamber, smaller exhaust valves and only 4 bolts for the valve covers vs the 6 bolts on the later model heads. Final judgement would be, if you need high performing heads, go get a set of nicer heads, but if you want something to just barely hop up your hot rod without any consequences.
