This summer, I saw this 1928.7m-high mountain from Utsukushigahara! I thought the trail leading to this magnificent mountain would surely be refreshing, so I decided to visit... Known as a plateau with spectacular views, along with nearby Takabocchi, Hachibuseyama boasts a magnificent ridgeline with stunning views. There's an observation deck at the summit, and from there you can see Mount Fuji, Lake Suwa, and the Southern Alps very well. The Northern Alps were shrouded in clouds that day, but the gently curving ridge trail leading to Futatsuyama was also wonderful, and it was a much more scenic hiking course than I expected!
