I'm testing my zero-waste homemade pesto recipe and it's so satisfying. These are great food hacks for eating cheaply and without food waste. We're going to recycle food waste. It's very funny, you're spending a day with me while I eat zero waste for 24 hours. Even Huby will be amazed. With this 24-hour challenge, I'm eating only food that we usually throw away. I want to know if it's possible to eat only food that's considered food waste for 24 hours. You'll spend 24 hours with me as I test food hacks using everyday products to create easy and delicious recipes. You'll spend 24 hours with me, and I'll document my state of mind as I eat with zero waste or only food destined for the trash. I make banana bread, homemade pesto with carrot tops, pineapple lemonade, homemade chips with potato peels, and, most importantly, candied oranges—a great zero-waste recipe.
