Lexus ES vs DS 9. Od samochodów popularnych do premium. Kto zrobił to lepiej?

Lexus is already an old hand in the premium segment, but let's not forget that it was created by Toyota, a manufacturer of mainstream cars. Citroen and the PSA Group did much the same thing some time ago, creating a separate premium brand – DS. How do the two most classic representatives of the premium segment, namely limousines, compare? The Lexus ES is the successor to the GS, which performs well as a limousine for both driver and passengers. It's 4.1 cm longer than the DS 9, but the DS is 6.7 cm wider. The wheelbase is also important in limousines, and while the Lexus has a 2,870 mm wheelbase, the DS's is 25 mm longer, suggesting greater interior space. Both cars are available as hybrids, but the prices of the hybrid DS are about 10,000 PLN higher. Is this right? Did the DS actually do a better job than the experienced Lexus? Want to know more?
