Kars Vilayeti’nde Etnik Temizlik 1918-1921

The three years between 1918 and 1921 witnessed critical events for the peoples of the South Caucasus. These events, which have received scant attention in historiography, saw numerous groups, particularly Armenians and Yazidis, subjected to severe massacres. During these years, the policies of ethnic cleansing and genocide initiated by the Unionists in 1915 continued, significantly altering the demographic structure and achieving a Turkish majority.
