Here we are: the second episode of "Shooting Tuscany" is finally online! At this time let me introduce you the (in)famous "Cipressini di San Quirico d'Orcia" - one of the most iconic locations of the splendid Val d'Orcia, the area that has the most photographic locations of the entire region. Two very-weirdly-planted groups of cypress trees in the middle of some gorgeous rolling hills: interesting how such an visually simple place can offer so much, right? I like to call this place "the photographer's playground", just because it's a place that - aside from the classic perspectives that I've shown all throughout the video - has endless possibilities for any artists that would like to push his/her creative boundaries and experiment with some new, personal compositions. That's why, personally speaking, I have a love/hate relationship with this place - because it's really easy to fall into the big classics from the area but at the same time every once in a while I manage to find something new and less seen. Ah, the struggles of landscape photography! No matter at what time of the day/year you will visit, despite my personal recommendations, I'm 100% sure that you'll manage to capture something quite beautiful in this area: just make sure to bring your whole lens inventory because you'll be able to use them all here!
