The Mary Wallopers playing incredible Irish music in the pub!

This is actually in our longer piece from the band (   • Exploring Irish folk music w/ The Mary Wal...  ) but I wanted to release it as a stand alone for folks who didn't make it to the end lol. We turned up in a random pub in Dundalk and the lads (with help from talented friends) lit the pub on fire with their tunes all night. Just an average day in the best place on Earth. The Wallopers are doing quite well lately, and i'm happy to see it. They played the late late show even (   • The Mary Wallopers - Eileen ÓG |The Late L...  , and are headlining tours all over. It really is something to get in there and hear the music, unplugged, live, right there in the pub. I wish America had more of this! We need to all start promoting the idea a bit more, because God knows we have the songs. Here though, there seems to be an over emphasis on the capitalism of it all, on selling tickets, and on playing your own originals over traditional songs everyone can sing/play along with. All in all, makes it tougher to get into. We should do better. Everyone can play, and everyone should! We should all learn to play old tunes, and playing with people in our community. We also put this movie out on ACTUAL VHS. Yes, it is no longer just a name, GemsOnVHS is real now. It started as a joke, and many hours of tinkering later we created these 100% homemade tapes.
