Reportage. Castelsaraceno il rito arboreo della "Festa della 'Ndenna"

REPORT by Fabio Falabella FOOTAGE by Gianfranco Di Bella Castel Saraceno – The "Festa della 'Ndenna" concluded last weekend in Castel Saraceno, an ancient arboreal ritual that harks back to an age-old tradition of enormous historical, cultural, and anthropological significance. These celebrations date back thousands of years, with centuries-old significance and a dating that in many cases remains uncertain despite the efforts of scholars. They combine pagan myth and Christian devotion to celebrate May, the arrival of summer, the fertility of the earth, and the symbolic union of man, woman, and humanity with nature.
