The Garden Party is an ongoing series of Guitar and Bass duos at Sellers & Newel Secondhand Books in downtown Toronto. The show is so named in tribute to the all time classic Bickert/Thompson album, it just feels right to be featuring a guitar and bass duo in the city of Toronto. Kurt Nielsen is a growing legend of Toronto bass. Touring internationally with huge names, carving out musical moments in the city's vibrant scene, and always making time for his students.
