He bought the car with the proviso that it would only be used in the winter in salt and snow so that it would not rust his hundreds. Only the necessary repairs, painting and driving took place. Over time, various period modifications took place: ridge steering, dual-circuit brakes with power steering, self-made heating moved between the tunnel and the dashboard, electric radiator fan, which is switched by the sensor only when needed. In 2003, before the second painting, the rear edges were raised so that snow chains could be easily fitted. The original engine has not been preserved and the Š100 engine with various custom modifications has been installed. In 2007 another 4x4 winter car was purchased and a thousand saved. From today's veterans' point of view, this is more of a vehicle designed for a complete renovation. We still do not know where the thousand was imported in 1973, because it has a production label in German placed in the trunk, a switch box with a steering wheel lock on a double-toothed key and the original door lock was on a double-toothed key.
