▼Materials ・Extra thick yarn (or two strands of medium thick yarn) ・Size 13 (6.0mm) knitting needles ・Scissors ・Daring needle ＼ I want to share this with beginners and those who have given up on knitting with knitting needles! ／ This time, I made a video to help you master the cast-on, knitting, and purl knitting techniques using simple and cute coasters! (I'm so excited! lol) My knitting method is similar to the American style, but it's a little different. Based on the knitting method my grandmother taught me, I've been knitting this way for over 10 years, adding my own personal touches. (I'm left-handed, so I might have some slight quirks...!) I used to feel self-conscious about my tight grip, which was different from other people's, but I had a sudden idea that "maybe this knitting method would be easier for beginners to understand..." and decided to make this video. It's a little different from the American style, so I've called it the "Grandma Style" as a token of my gratitude to my grandmother. I hope that the Grandma Style will serve as an entry point for people to think, "Maybe I can do knitting! It's fun!" Also, since this video is a little longer, I've included some casual conversation in between! If you're an easy knitter, I'd love for you to listen to this tutorial like a radio show, while following the instructions in the subtitles. This tutorial is a gift for those who have given up knitting and beginners. I made a simple, cute coaster that you can complete using a basic knitting pattern. The way I use is American, but a little different. My grandma taught me how to knit, and I added some of my own. I've been knitting this way for over a decade.
