Estuvieron meses en prisión y eran inocentes

Two friends were acquitted of attempting to run over a PDI (Chilean Investigative Police) officer five years ago, after spending months in pretrial detention. The acquittal was due to a lack of evidence that the detectives had identified themselves or that the young men were carrying weapons. Now, the three defendants, including the mother of one of them, are demanding compensation for the time they spent in jail and that the police officers be held accountable.
